FrequentlyAskedQuestions
Everything you need to know about Copacati.
Getting Started
It starts with a consultation to understand your data landscape and identify the use cases that will deliver the most value early. From there, our team works alongside yours through a structured implementation: infrastructure setup, data source connections, access controls, and hands-on training. The goal is initial value in four to six weeks.
Four to six weeks from kickoff to production. The implementation covers infrastructure setup, data source connections, testing with your team on real data, and rollout with training. By the end, your team is running real queries and getting answers from their own systems.
Copacati connects to your existing systems in place, with no exports and no migrations. We support CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics), ERPs (JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Acumatica), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL), cloud storage (Amazon S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage), file-based sources (CSV, Excel, Google Sheets), and a REST API for custom integrations.
Most teams see early wins within the first few weeks: sales and operations questions answered in minutes instead of days, reporting backlogs cleared, and insights surfaced from data that was previously locked in silos. The pace picks up from there as your team gets comfortable with the platform.
Product
Chat is for quick questions and data exploration: fast, streaming responses with charts, tables, and follow-up conversation. Deep Research is for the questions that would normally take an analyst days or weeks. The system assembles a team of specialized AI agents that research, analyze, fact-check, and synthesize findings into a structured report with source citations. You see progress as it happens.
The Data Pond brings your business systems together into one queryable environment. Data flows in from your source systems, gets cleaned and organized automatically, and becomes available for analysis and reporting. Every piece of data is traceable back to its source, so you always know where a number came from. When your AI agents run research, they query the Data Pond directly, so answers come from your actual data.
Yes. Copacati connects to JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and reads it the way a person would. JD Edwards stores data in a format built decades ago, with coded dates, dropped decimal points, and cryptic column names. Copacati translates all of it automatically using JD Edwards' own definitions, so you get real dates, names, and amounts without a specialist or a lookup table. The connection is read only: Copacati reads your JD Edwards data, it never writes back. See the full story on the JD Edwards page.
Copacati works with multiple AI providers out of the box: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Mistral, Google Gemini, and any OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Pick the right model for each task, switch providers without rework, or bring your own. Every call is tracked with full cost breakdowns, so there are no surprises on your bill.
Yes to both. Dashboards are available in preview: build interactive views from any data in your Data Pond, using a visual query builder or SQL if you prefer. For repeating tasks, the workflow engine lets you automate multi-step processes that run on schedule or on demand, including triggering AI research as part of the flow.
Security & Compliance
With on-premises deployment, your data never leaves your infrastructure. All processing happens within your cloud environment or data center. For the hosted option, data lives in isolated, single-tenant environments. In both cases, data in transit uses TLS 1.3, data at rest uses AES-256 encryption, and no data is ever used to train models or shared with third parties. You retain full ownership and can delete all data at any time.
Full transparency into everything the platform does. Every question, every model call, and every dollar spent is logged with complete attribution: who asked, what sources were consulted, and how the answer was reached. Logs are append-only and exportable for compliance review. Role-based access controls ensure users only see data they are authorized to access.
Technical
CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics), ERPs (JD Edwards, NetSuite, SAP Business One, Acumatica), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, MongoDB), cloud storage (S3, Azure Blob, Google Cloud Storage), and productivity tools (Google Sheets, Excel). We also offer a REST API for custom integrations with proprietary or legacy systems. New connectors are added regularly based on customer needs.
No, and it does not need to. Copacati does not push records between your systems. Instead, JD Edwards and Salesforce each sync into the Copacati Data Pond, one governed place where your data lands and lines up. Once both are there, a single question can draw on operations data from JD Edwards and sales data from Salesforce at the same time, with every answer tracing back to its source system. More on the JD Edwards page.
On-premises runs entirely within your infrastructure, in your cloud or data center and under your rules. The hosted option runs on Copacati-managed infrastructure in isolated, single-tenant environments, so you get the same capabilities with less operational overhead. Both deliver the same platform; the difference is who manages the infrastructure.
